Strong board members have never been in greater demand. Across the nation, directors are asking themselves what effective processes and practices must be in place to maximize the probability that the next crisis will not damage the companies on whose boards they serve. The National Association of Corporate Directors provided a forum for discussing these and related issues October 19th through 21st, 2008.

On Monday, October 20, 2008, at the JW Marriott hotel in Washington, D.C.Alice Peterson joined an NACD panel to discuss best practices for identifying risk, analyzing risk, and mitigating risk.
